Hay Bales Fire - Greensboro Road, Goldsboro, MD

Station 700 and 600 were alerted for a small outside fire. Arrived to find a stack of 400 hay bales on fire. 722 established command and requested a full box assignment adding Stations 300, 400, and 56 to the call. Personnel attempted to extinguish the fire for about an hour without success due to lack of machinery. After getting the owner's permission, the hay bales were determined to be in a safe location to let them burn out. 722 placed the situation under control and released all units.
