On Friday afternoon just after 1700 hours, Station 700 was alerted to assist Station 56 (Marydel), Station 51 (Hartly, Kent Co. De.) and Station 6 (Sudlersville, QA County) on a working structure fire. E703 responded within a minute with 6 Officer 716 (B. Cahall) and T706 with one (G. Elliott). 56-15 (B. Madden) responed POV. E702 responded with 4 Officer 717 (D. Wothers). E701 responded with driver only 715 (J.T. Bartz). 56-15 arrived and assumed Trunk Line Road command with a shed fully involved and threatening the house. E703 laid a four inch supply line up the lane and put two 1 3/4" lines into service protecting the house and containing the fire. T706 hooked to the supply line as the nurse tanker. E702 and E56-1 arrived and checked the house for hot spots. Scene was brought under control in approx. 30 minutes, with all equipment on location for approx. 1 hour.
