Little after 4 a.m. station 700 was alerted to assist station 600 (Greensboro) and Station 300 (Denton) for a reported house fire. 616 (Bambary) responded POV, arreved to find a two story log cabin with heavy fire showing. E703 responded with 5, 716 (B.Cahall) as the officer. T706 responded with Asst. Engineer Elloit. E702 with 2, 719 (R. Dixon). Units went to work E603 tried to make an interior attack but was soon backed out per command as the situation became worse. E304 completed E603 four inch hose lay up the lane. T606, T706, T306 supplied the scene. E703 made the way to the scene and assisted with fire suppression. Command requested a tanker task force bringing T406, T86, T502 and E401 to the scene. Fire was brought under control approx. 3hrs. All 700 equipment returned to service at 10:00 hrs.
