Working House Fire - Drapers Mill Road

Station 700, 600 (Greensboro), and 56 (Marydel) were alerted for a house fire in the area of 15161 Drapers Mill Road in the 7-2 Box. E703 responded with a crew of 7 with 716 (B. Cahall), E702 responded right after with a crew of 6 and 715 (J.T. Bartz) T704 responded with 2 and 722 (W. Durham). E703 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from a single family dwelling. 716 assumed Drapers Mill Road command. Engine crew stretched a 1 3/4" line to the front door for an interior attack. E702 arrived with the assignment of backing up the interior crew and pulled an attack line. 715 handled operations while 717 (D.Wothers) handled interior. E56-1 crew split one crew laddered the roof on side C for ventilation and the second crew pulled a second line from E703 to protect the propane tank. Roof operations were cancelled do to be unsafe. E603 crew set up positive pressure at the front door. Command requested fill the box bringing Station 300 (Denton) and 400 (Ridgely).
