Members of the Goldsboro Volunteer Fire Company would like to extend their deepest sympathy to the membership of the Bloxom Volunteer Fire Company on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Sadly, Firefighter David Chew, Jr. passed away this morning as a result of a crash involving one of their engines while responding to a call. Firefighter Chew, a 14 year veteran of BVFC, is survived by his parents, brother, wife and son. Please remember Firefighter Chew's family and the Brothers and Sisters of the Bloxom Volunteer Fire Company in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
